Meet Dr. Beth
Dr. Beth Smith is originally from South Texas and graduated from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1984. She also spent a year and a half at Kansas State University working in the Embryo transfer unit. Dr. Beth was in a dairy practice in Texas before moving up to Wisconsin. Her intention was to eventually get back to Texas to open up her own practice.
Plans changed when she met and married her husband, Jim who is a dairy farmer. She then opened up her own practice in Rock Falls which is 80% small animal and 20% equine.
Dr. Beth’s hobbies include horses and competing in dressage. Her pets include two cats and four horses.
Courtney grew up right across the highway from the clinic and started working for Dr. Beth when she was 12. After she graduated high school, Courtney went on to earn her Veterinary Technician License from Globe University. Courtney and her husband Chris live on a hobby farm where they raise chickens for meat and eggs. They share their home with two dobermans, 5 cats, and Foghorn the rooster. Courtney loves gardening and various arts and crafts.
Dolly began working for Rock Falls Vet in November of 1999. Dolly was born and raised in Mondovi so she knows the area well. Dolly is a retired taxidermist and loves gardening, fishing, snowmobiling, and four wheeling. She, and her husband Gordy, have two sons and lots of cats.
